Cpo Jack W. Frederick, Uscg (Ret.)

January 16, 1943 — May 21, 2017

Jack Frederick, loving father, grandfather, and brother, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, May 21, 2017. He was 74.

Jack was born on January 16, 1943 in Madison, Tennessee to the late James T. and Maxine Fuston-Frederick. He proudly served his country with valor in the United States Coast Guard during the Bay of Pigs Invasion and Vietnam War. In 1981, Mr. Frederick retired from the military with the rank of Chief Petty Officer. Subsequent to his military career, he worked in Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base as an Aero Club Manager.

A pilot for several years, he had many interests that kept him busy including: flying, golfing, shooting skeet, firearms and hunting, square dancing, and riding motorcycles. Byron United Methodist was Jack's church home.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Watson Frederick; and two brothers, Gary and Terl.

Jack leaves his memory behind with his loving children, Tim A. Frederick (Cheryl) of Byron, Dean Frederick (Delena) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Deneb Friedt (Roger) of Springfield, Virginia; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three brothers; two sisters; and his significant other, Karen Falter of Warner Robins.

Visitation will be Friday, May 26th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 27th in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with another visitation one hour prior. Following the service, Mr. Frederick will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
