Richard H. Allen, 75, entered into rest on Monday, May 19, 2014.

Richard was born on February 24, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio and was of the Catholic faith. He proudly served in the United States Navy retiring with the rank of Chief Petty Officer. After retiring from the military, Richard worked for National Exterminating Company for ten years. He enjoyed Harley Davidson's and was an avid golfer.

His parents, Roy and Hilda England Allen; and sister, Phyllis Vizena, preceded him in death.

Richard's memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of fifty-four years, Catherine M. Allen of Bonaire; children, Phillip Allen (Crystal) of Destin, Florida, Ronald Allen of Warner Robins, Rene Ellard of Macon and Kraig Cavanary of Jacksonville, Florida; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
