Calvin Beard

Calvin Beard, 66, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2006. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2006 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, February 24, 2006 from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Beard was born on February 27, 1939 in Floyd County, Georgia but had lived most of his life in Middle Georgia. He was employed at Robins Air Force Base for thirty three years and served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. Mr. Beard was a Master Mason and a Shriner. His father, Henry Beard, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Beard, Macon; sons, Daniel Kelley (Michele), Warner Robins; David Kelley, Macon; Dennis Kelley, Cochran; mother, Majie Beard, Orange Park, Florida; sister, Elizabeth Leck, Jacksonville, Florida; grandchildren, Kayla, Chance, Macie and Carson Kelley.
