January 26, 1931 — February 8, 2013

Hank Heimbach, 82, entered into rest on Friday, February 8, 2013.

Hank was known and loved by so many. He was humble, kind-hearted, generous, funny, and will be missed by everyone that had the chance to know him. Most of all, Hank was known by all his family as a role model and a "family man" who loved his family dearly and unconditionally.

During his career, he served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He retired at the rank of Captain in Montgomery, Alabama in 1969 and also served with the East Lake Sinclair Fire Department.

Hank is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Heimbach (Hattie Reynolds); daughter, Belinda Heimbach; brothers, Howard Heimbach, Jr., Charles Heimbach, and Ronnie Heimbach; and grandson-in-law, Joshua Hadden, Sr.

His life will forever be celebrated by his loving wife of fifty-nine years, Jacqueline "Jackie" Barker Heimbach. He had an unbreakable bond with his four children, Harlen Heimbach (Kim), Jackson, Tennessee; Robin Redman (John), Sacramento, California; Dena Williams (Jimmy), Thomson, Georgia; and Teresa O'Brien (Larry), Olney, Illinois. His most treasured role was being a grandfather to his twelve beloved grandchildren. He also leaves behind twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
