Carl Leslie Eastman

September 23, 1966 — October 16, 2017

Carl Eastman, 51, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 16, 2017.

Carl was born on September 23, 1966 in Landstuhl, Germany, the son of Vera Caryl Eastman and the late SMSgt. Fred J. Eastman, USAF (Ret.). In 1976, he settled with his family in Houston County and enjoyed playing the trumpet in the Perry High School Marching Band. Carl graduated from PHS in 1985 and was a self-employed truck driver.

Working on cars and trucks was one of Carl’s favorite pastimes. He also enjoyed repairing computers, flying remote airplanes and helicopters, and hunting and camping. He loved to water ski as a younger man, as well. Carl will always be remembered as a loving father, son, nephew and friend to many.

Carl’s memory will forever be treasured by his loving mother, Vera Eastman of Warner Robins; his brother, Clint R. Eastman of Alvaton, Georgia; daughter, Amanda Eastman Wren (Cody), Amanda’s mother, Donna Youngblood, and her son, David Youngblood, all of Warner Robins; aunts, Mable Magner of Media, Illinois, Mildred Winchel of Burlington, Iowa; numerous cousins; and special friend, Kay James of Warner Robins.

At the family’s request, all services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be given to your favorite charity.
