Carla Elaine Bankston

Carla Elaine Bankston, 47, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 30, 2014.

Carla was born on February 21, 1967 in Hawkinsville, Georgia to the late Carl F. and Amanda Irene Thompson. She was Valedictorian of the Westfield School's Class of 1985 and currently the area supervisor of McDonald's where she was an employee for the past 31 years. In her free time, Carla enjoyed traveling with her family and spending time in the mountains. She possessed a contagious smile, generous heart, and will be remembered by all who knew her as a loving wife, dedicated mother, the proudest grandmother, and loving aunt.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her devoted husband of 27 years, Kent Bankston; daughter, Brittany Bankston; grandson, Greyson; and mother-in-law, Joann Bankston, all of Warner Robins.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 4, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 5, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Reverend Stephen B. Grantham will officiate.
