Carlene Williams

Carlene Williams, 73, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2003. Services will be held on Friday, October 24 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Satilla Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Hazelhurst. Visitation will be Thursday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Houston County, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.

Mrs. Williams was born in Hazelhurst and was a retired insurance agent for Hartford Insurance Co. She was a member of the Lantana Club and an avid square dancer with the Robins Ramblers. She was also a member of Northview Methodist Church. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Williams, and parents, Benjamin Franklin and Thelma A. Lord.

Survivors include her brother, Thomas A. Lord; nephew and his wife, Thomas B. and Stephanie Lord; nephew, Mike Lord; great-niece, Amanda Lord; and friends, Richard and Mina Stewart, all of Warner Robins.
