Carlos Barroso

Carlos Barroso, 83, entered into rest on Saturday, July 23, 2011.

Dr. Barroso was born on March 11, 1928 in Havana, Cuba. A graduate of the University of Havana, Dr. Barraso left Cuba in 1959 after the communist invasion and has lived in Warner Robins since 1970. He was also an urologist and an avid pilot. His parents, Dulce and Carlos Barroso and son, Carlos Barroso preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of fifty-seven years, Marta Barroso; children, Mario Barroso (Jacqueline), Kathleen, Andres Barroso (Angela), Macon and Maria Butler (Jeffrey), Grayson; siblings, Fernando Barroso, Hurlock, Maryland, Andrea Bermudez, Santa Fe, New Mexico and Rodrigo Barroso, Melbourne, Florida and grandchildren, Carlos, Audrey, Joseph, Matthew, Christopher, Julia, Olivia, Caroline, Nathaniel, Michael and Mary Grace.

A Prayer Service will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. with visitation following at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27 at Sacred Heart Catholic church with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Flowers may be accepted or donations can be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church building fund, 250 South Davis Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
