March 23, 1952 — January 1, 2021

Carol Griffin, 68, entered into the gates of heaven on Friday, January 1, 2021.

Carol was born on March 23, 1952 in Cocoa Beach, Florida to the late Otis and Jeanette Medley.
She moved to Warner Robins at the age of twelve having moved around with her military family. Carol graduated in 1970 from Warner Robins High School and later married her beloved husband, Terry, and they began their family. Carol had a long and successful career at Houston Medical Center, where she began as a candy striper. While working at HMC she continued her nursing education, graduating with her Master’s Degree. After thirty-three years of dedicated service, she retired in 2011 as the Director of Women’s Center and Pediatrics. Following her retirement, she enjoyed time with her family and grandkids and could often be found listening to music or reading.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Terry.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughters, Amy McKinzie (David) of Warner Robins and Amber Suarez (Zenaido) of Byron; grandchildren; Gavin, Antonio, Sofia and Zayna Suarez, and Sean Moriarty; sisters; Bonnie Wagstaff of Warner Robins and Wanda McKinley (Jimmy) of Byron; and niece, Jennifer Simpson (Ryan) of Perry.

A private graveside service celebrating her life will be at Magnolia Park Cemetery with the Reverend Jeff Cleghorn officiating. Carol will be laid to rest following the services.
