Carol Anne Powell

Carol Anne Powell, 53, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2004 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 23, at Christ United Methodist Church, 511 Russell Parkway, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the PKD Foundation for Research in Polycystic Kidney Disease, 9221 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, M0 64114-3367.

Mrs. Powell was working as an administrative assistant at the Warner Robins First Command office. She was a British Royal Air Force Veteran, a Registered Nurse and a Red Cross volunteer responsible for coordinating volunteer jobs and blood drives at many of her husband’s Air Force assignments. She attended Christ United Methodist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents, Hedley Stuart and Caroline Letice Curtis, Porthcawl, Mid-Glam, (Wales) Great Britain.

Survivors include, husband, Daniel N. Powell, Warner Robins; son, Jonathan Adams, Florida; stepdaughters, Holly Johnson, Minnesota and Julie Fazio (John), North Carolina; brother, Tudor C. Curtis (Julia); Llanwyrtyd Wells Powys, (Wales) Great Britain; grandson, Dennis Johnson, Minnesota; nephews, Kai and Twm Curtis; and niece, Billie Curtis.
