Carol R. Kennedy, 65, entered into rest on Sunday, July 21, 2013.
Mrs. Kennedy was born on March 12, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Eugene and Barbara Henley Ribbink. She received a Bachelor's Degree from Georgia College and State University and retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. Mrs. Kennedy enjoyed reading, crocheting and was particularly fond of animals, especially birds and cats.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of thirty-two years, Ronald Wayne Kennedy, USAF and Civil Service (Ret) of Bonaire, Georgia; children, Ethan "Freddy" Brant (Mistie) and Sarah Franklin (Allen), both of McDonough, Georgia; stepchildren, Kai Molencamp of Warner Robins, Georgia and Steven Kennedy (Denise) of Frankfort, Kentucky; grandchildren, Deanna, Lauren, Emma, Haley, Ally and McKenna; brothers, Bruce Ribbink (Henri) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Gary Ribbink (Troylee) of Daytona Beach, Florida; sister, Alane Sisilli of Port St. Lucie, Florida; mother-in-law, Ollidean Kennedy of Henderson, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Shirley Gaddy of Henderson, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 25, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. The family will accept flowers, or donations may be given to the Humane Society of Houston County, Inc., P.O. Box 9588, Warner Robins, GA 31095, to the ASPCA, Attn: Gift Processing Center, 424 E. 92nd Street, New York, NY 10128 or to the American Lung Association of GA, 2452 Spring Road, Smyrna, GA 30080.
