Carolyn B. Shearouse

Carolyn B. Shearouse, 62, died Wednesday, April 30, 2003. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 5 at Byron United Methodist Church. Family and friends are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Byron United Methodist Church Choir, 1 W Heritage Blvd N, Byron, GA 31008.

Mrs. Shearouse was born in Tampa, FL, to the late Joseph and Edith Croft Beverly. She was retired from Mercer University, where she was Administrative Assistant to the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts. She was a member of Byron United Methodist Church, the Faith Sunday School Class, and the Heart of Georgia Emmaus Community.

She will be greatly missed by her family which includes her husband, Julian D. Shearouse; children, Allen Shiley, NC; Jeffrey Shiley, Eatonton; Brian Shiley and Curtis Shiley, both of SC; Amy Shiley, Augusta; Delores Brown, Harlem, GA; Barbara Jackson, Aiken, SC; and JoAnn Martin, Centerville; and 11 grandchildren.
