Carolyn Jeanette Grimes

Carolyn Grimes passed away in the early morning hours of Monday, January 30, 2017. She was 74 years old.

Carolyn was born in San Diego, California on November 27, 1942 to the late James and Claudia Grimes. She dedicated more than 20 years of Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base before retiring. Ms. Grimes enjoyed cooking, especially big breakfasts for her family, loved antiques, and was an Elvis fanatic.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Hilary Meier; and brother, Robbie Grimes.

She leaves her memory behind with her devoted daughter, Claudia Meier (Richard) of Fort Valley; brother, Michael Grimes (Kathy) of Arizona; best friend of 30 years, Doris Flournoy; and loyal cat, "Cleo."

A memorial gathering will take place from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, February 2nd at McCullough Funeral Home. At the family's request, her burial will be private.
