Cathy Dunn (Rice)

Cathy Dunn (Rice), 56, passed away December 31, 2003. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, at Green Acres Baptist Church. The Reverend Ray Pruitt will officiate. The family will receive visitors one hour preceding the service starting at 2 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Stroke Association, Memorial Program, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231, or to the Georgia Children's Home, 4690 North Mumford Road, Macon, Georgia 31210.

Ms. Dunn, born in Jasper, Alabama, was the daughter of the late Harry and Alma Thomas. She was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church and volunteered at Centerville Elementary School. A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, she will be truly missed.

Survivors include her daughters, Tracy Rice, Warner Robins, and Christal Cooper (Wayne), Illinois; son, Jody Rice (Yi-Wen), Columbus; and grandsons, Eric Rice and Nicholas Cooper.
