Charles Daniel "Chuck" Garman

Chuck Garman, 79, passed into the hands of his Lord on Wednesday, May 30, 2018.

Chuck was born in What Cheer, Iowa on May 13, 1939 to the late Eugene and Grace Garman. He grew up in Gilmore City, Iowa and was of the Catholic faith. In his working years, Chuck owned and operated a sporting goods store, worked in real estate, owned a salvage shop and a tire and auto store. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, farming, baseball, watching the Georgia Bulldogs, and doting on his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Roberta Garman; his daughter, Laura Garman; and his sister, Elizabeth McFadden.

Chuck’s memory will forever be treasured by his loving children, Brett Garman of Warner Robins, Michelle McKinney (Todd) of Ankeny, Iowa, Gina Wells (Mike) of Bonaire, Todd Garman of Woodstock, Georgia, Dave Martens (Tiffany) of Perry, Russ Garman (Katherine) of McDonough, and Wendy Collins (Scotty) of Griffin; grandchildren, Kara, Kalvin, Keaton, Matt, Macie, Micah, Tyler, Nick, Drew, Lexie, Sara, Alice, Emily, Courtney, Anna, and Abby; and great-grandchildren, Addison, Kade, Kennedy, Nolan, Eva, and Wyatt.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at McCullough Funeral Home.
