Charles Holland, 78, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2007. Mr. Holland was born on April 25, 1929 in Monroe, North Carolina. He was a mason, served twenty-eight years in the U.S. Air Force, including during the Korean and Vietnam conflicts, and retired as a Lt. Colonel.
His parents, Charles Watson Holland and Lila Holland, and sister, Carolyn Ellison, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, June Holland, Warner Robins; daughter, Teri Hollingsworth (Larry)Warner Robins; son, Richard Holland (Neva), South Carolina; daughter, Joni Bruce (Allan), Warner Robins; brother, Joe Holland, Asheville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Shannon, Justin, Josie, Michael and Tracy; great-grandchildren, Erica, Christopher, Chris, Sofi and Mack; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 5, 2007 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2007, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Rev. Jim Murr officiating, with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
