Charles J. Lannon, Sr.

Charles J. Lannon, Sr., 82, died Monday, May 19, 2003, in a local hospital. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 21, at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. A rosary will start at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at McCullough Funeral Home, and visitation will follow until 9:00 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building Fund, 250 S. Davis Dr, Warner Robins, GA 31088.

Mr. Lannon was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He was retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base, where he worked as a mechanical engineer. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. His wife, Margeurite T. Lannon, and mother, Hilda Lannon, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his son, Charles “Chuck” Lannon, Jr., Warner Robins; daughter, Deborah “Debbie” Mooneyham, Byron; sister, Carolyn Powers, and brother, John Lannon, both of Baltimore, MD.
