Charles Joseph Yeager

Charles Yeager, 88, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2007.

Mr. Yeager was born on November 13, 1918 in Coal Township, Pennsylvania. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins. With loyalty and honor, he served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Yeager retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base where he was Chief of the Industrial Products and Life Support Systems Division. His parents, Rufus and Marie Brayda Yeager, preceded him in death.

He will be missed by his loving wife of sixty six years, LaRue “Dolly” Yeager, Warner Robins; children and their spouses, Richard and Karen Yeager, Bonaire; Becky and Neil Sklarew, Marietta; grandchildren, Danielle Yeager, Shawn Yeager, Jessica O’Neill; great grandchild, Jack Ryan O’Neill; and brother, Elmer Yeager, PA.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 15, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins, 205 N. Davis Drive Warner Robins, Georgia 31093.
