Chuck Bennett, Jr., loving and devoted husband and son, passed away at his residence on Saturday, December 1, 2018. He was 61.
Chuck was born in Monticello, Arkansas on October 3, 1957. He was an electronic “genius” graduating from the University of Arkansas and working for Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base as an electronic support technician. Chuck enjoyed life, family, many friends, and his cats. His good soul and genuine love for helping anyone with anything will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 31 years, Debbie Short Bennett of Kathleen; parents, Jeanette and Charles Bennett, Sr. of Kathleen; brother, Keith Bennett of Hampton, Arkansas; and niece and nephews, William, Kendall, and Joseph Bennett.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 6, 2018, from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service celebrating Chuck’s life will follow at 4:30 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Bankson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Chuck Bennett to the Humane Society of Houston County, Inc., P.O. Box 9588, Warner Robins, GA 31095.
