Charles Preston Swink, Jr.

Charles Preston Swink, Jr., 76, died Monday, July 8 in Milledgeville. Services will be held at 3:00pm, Saturday, July 13 at the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 7:00 until 9:00pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, Office of Development, International Shrine Headquarters, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607-1460.

Mr. Swink, a native of Philadelphia, PA, was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired with the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer, having served during both WWII and the Korean War. He was also retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. He was a member of the Al Sihah Shrine and Mason Lodge in Macon. His parents, Charles and Emma Swink, Jr. preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Hibbard Swink and daughter, Karen Tracey Swink, both of Warner Robins.
