Charles "Chuck" R. Clark, III, 87, entered into rest on July 31, 2008.

Mr. Clark was born on April 22, 1921, in Washington, DC. He was in the first Naval ROTC class at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received his commission in the US Navy at graduation. He participated in WWII and rose to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Subsequently he was a successful self-employed building contractor. He moved to the Warner Robins area four years ago. His church home was Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Fayetteville, North Carolina. His parents, Charles Richard Clark II, and Eva Baker Clark, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Helen Robbins Clark, Warner Robins; daughters, Robbin Pryor (Allen), Las Vegas, Nevada, Catherine Christie (David), Kingsland, Jannet Bibb (Roy), Warner Robins; sons, Charles Richard Clark, IV (Teresa), Seven Lakes, North Carolina, John Clark, Charlotte, North Carolina, Thomas Clark, Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren, Charles Richard Clark, V, Jonathan Christie, Matthew Clark, , Zachary and Gabrielle Bibb and John Tyler Shields.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation immediately preceding at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins GA 31088 or to the Warner Robins Little League, P.O. Box 6562, Warner Robins GA 31095, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
