Charles W. Curry, Sr.

Charles W. Curry, Sr., 84, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2003 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 7 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will be private.

Memorials may be given to Trinity United Methodist Church Building Fund, 129 S. Houston Rd, Warner Robins, GA 31088.

Mr. Curry was born in Union County, Ohio, to the late Rubin E. and Flora Curry. He became a resident of Warner Robins in 1976, when he moved here from Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX. He retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base after 36 years of work as an Equipment Allowance Specialist. Mr. Curry was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Asbury Sunday School Class. He was also a member of the Tyrian Lodge in Warner Robins and the Scottish Rite in Macon.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Billie Ruth Curry, Warner Robins; daughters, Peggy Ann Foshee, Walls, MS, and Cheryl Day Meyer, Lavernia, TX; son, Charles W. Curry, Jr., Bulverde, TX; stepdaughter, Susan Diane Banks, Warner Robins, GA; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
