Charles W. Purkhiser, Jr.

Charles W. Purkhiser, Jr., 67, entered into rest on Saturday, November 23, 2013.

Charles was born on October 7, 1946, in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was a long time member of St. David's Catholic Church in Davie, Florida, and was a retired computer programmer from First Mail Marketing. Charles loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed watching and supporting his grandson play football for the Warner Robins Demons. His parents, Charles and Mildred Purkhiser, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of thirty-seven years, Linda Purkhiser; daughter, Jennifer Klingmann and grandson, Edward Klingmann, all of Warner Robins.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the Georgia Canine Rescue and Rehabilitation, 235 Mac Thompson Road, Cochran, Georgia, 31014.
