Cherie Bedsole

Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Cherie Bedsole, quietly passed away at home on the morning of Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at the age of 70. Born in Macon, GA on July 20, 1952, she was the daughter of the late John Carl Pruett and Joyce R. Gaultney. Cherie was a proud nurse who supported and cared for countless patients for over a span of 44 years with Meyer Cardiology in Macon. She will be fondly remembered by everyone who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving daughter, Melissa Jo King (James); grandchildren, Nevin and Chelsea Bedsole; great-grandchildren, Melina, Grayson and Camryn; and the YaYa Sisterhood, Shari, Vonn and Pam. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepdad, Fred Gaultney; and her brother, Kevin Carl Pruett.

At the family’s request, all services will be private.

Cherie’s family would like to express a special ‘thank you’ to the wonderful staff at Heart of Georgia Hospice, especially to Amy, Lynn and Julia.
