Chong Cha Callaway

Chong Callaway, 70, entered into rest on Saturday, January 19, 2019.

Chong was born on October 22, 1948 in Seoul, South Korea to the late Tu Im Chang. She married her love, Thomas Callaway, and made the United States her home in 1968. She was the backbone of her family and a second mama to many. Chong was dedicated and devoted to caring for all.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Polk.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved husband, Thomas Callaway; son, James Callaway (Brette) of Bonaire; grandchildren, Sophie and Jase Callaway; sisters, Chong Frashure (Mike) of Bilouxi, Mississippi and Sukie Mabrey (Jon) of Centerville and brother, Wonki Chang of New York.

Visitation will be Monday, January 21, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the Bridge Church on U.S. Highway 41. Afterwards, Mrs. Callaway will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mrs. Callaway’s arrangements.
