Christel Helen Sullivan

Christel Helen Sullivan, 87, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 21, 2017.

Mrs. Sullivan was born on June 30, 1929, in Gumbinnen, Germany to the late Frederic and Helen Kalwiet Pekruhl. A member of First Presbyterian Church of Warner Robins, Mrs. Sullivan enjoyed fishing, swimming, and working in her garden. However, her loving family was always her main focus and priority above all else. Her husband, Leonard Sullivan, and son, Leonard Sullivan, Jr. preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Bernard J. Bemke and Thomas R. Bemke of Warner Robins, Cynthia Statham of Macon, and Kathy Martin of Warner Robins,; grandchildren, Nikki Shaw, Bernard K. Bemke, Jon M. Bemke (Lori), Amy Shouse, Cliff Statham (Calida), Shawn Sullivan, Mickey Martin, and Tony Martin; many great-grandchildren; and special friend, Mary Cheney.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2017, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the funeral services. Following the funeral, Mrs. Sullivan will be laid to rest next to her husband and son in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
