Christy Adams

Christy Adams, 46, walked through Heaven's gates on Thursday, November 17, 2016.

Christy was born on May 4, 1970 in Atlanta, Georgia. She grew up in Jackson, Mississippi, then as a teenager she and her family relocated to Warner Robins, Georgia. Christy was a graduate of Warner Robins High School's Class of 1989. She continued her education at Middle Georgia Technical College where she earned her Associate Degree in Computer Science. Christy worked at Robins Air Force Base for a few years, before becoming a full-time homemaker.

Christy loved to spend time outdoors whether working in her yard or relaxing at the beach. She was also a member of the Georgia Paranormal Investigators. Every Sunday during NASCAR season, Christy could be found pulling for Jeff Gordon. An avid supporter of local law enforcement, she thrived on spending time with her husband and children who were always her highest priority. Christy's sharp sense of humor will be truly missed by everyone who was blessed to know her and to have had her share a part in their lives.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of fourteen years , Larry Adams of Kathleen; children, Kalie Ball (Paige) of Warner Robins; Amber Ball of Warner Robins; Justin Ball of Kathleen; stepdaughter, Kelly Stec of Illinois; parents, Wendell and Shirley Gambrell of Warner Robins; sister, Renee Gambrell of Bonaire; Wendy Gray (Brad) of Centerville; nieces and nephews, Madison and Morgan Richardson; Christopher Gray (Brittany); Corey Gray; and Ashleigh Gray; as well as her great nieces and nephews, Kaiden Irvin, Holt Gray and Anslee Gray.

Visitation with Christy's family will be Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 20, 2016 in the Chapel of McCullough. Following the service, Mrs. Adams will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
