Chung Thi Nguyen

October 17, 1959 — August 1, 2021

She was born in Nha Trang on October 17, 1959 and relocated to the United States in 1984. Initially she lived in Panama City, Florida and later on settled in Macon, Georgia. She had five daughters and one son. She passed on August 1, 2021. She was 61 years old.

She enjoyed traveling, cooking, exercising, gardening, singing, spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved walking on the beach and watching the waves. She enjoyed sightseeing and visiting new places. She was a spiritual woman—spending her time at the temple, volunteering and serving those in need.

She is survived by her children, Thuy Quyen Thi Huynh (Tuan Anh Doan), Kim Quynh Thi Huynh, Kim Qua Thi Huynh (Chuong Quoc Doan), Kim Que Thi Huynh, Kim Linh Thi Huynh, Victor Thai Nguyen; grandchildren, Abigail Thu Yen Doan, Eleanor Thu Ha Doan, Greyson Quoc Doan; siblings, Xao ThiNguyen, Tit Van Nguyen, Giap Van Nguyen, Lun Van Nguyen; many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, August 6, 2021 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.

In lieu of any monetary gifts, the family requests donations to be made to the temple she served: Chua Linh Phong of Warner Robins, Georgia.
