Claire Sylvestre

Claire Sylvestre, 86, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2007.

Mrs. Sylvestre was born on December 29, 1920, in Haiti. She was a retired Nurse’s Assistant. She attended Centerville First Baptist Church and was a member of the Jackie Davis Sunday School Class. Her husband, Henri Sylvestre and parents, Geffrard Ferrari and Clercite Indigene, preceded her in death.

Survivors include, daughters, Michelle Sylvestre Cameau, Byron; Margaret Sylvestre Ford (Curtis), Byron; grandchildren, Gethania Cameau, Justin Sylvestre, Jamila Anne Ford and Kahlil Rogers Ford; great-grandchildren, Ninti Clitandre and Nika Lockett.

Visitation will be Friday, October 19, 2007, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2007, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Centerville First Baptist Church, 108 Church Street, Centerville, GA 31028.
