Clara Montoya Espinal

August 12, 1939 — August 22, 2018

Clara Lidia Montoya Espinal, 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 22, 2018.

Mrs. Espinal was born on August 12, 1939 in Colon, Honduras to the late Emilio Escoto and Andrea Montoya. She moved to the United States in 1979 and to Warner Robins in 2000, but still loved watching her Spanish soap operas. Going shopping would excite her beyond belief as she loved buying clothes, jewelry, and shoes. An organized and extremely clean lady, she never left her house without being dressed up with make-up and perfume. She loved to smell good! Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the center of her world, and she loved them all dearly. Mrs. Espinal was a woman of earnest faith and found strength and comfort in reading her Bible and praying without ceasing. She loved the Lord with all her heart, and knew where her soul was heading. Her trust was in the Lord, and she led all of her family to the feet of her Lord. Her family is grateful for the blessing she was and the gift the Lord gave them of having such a beautiful person in their lives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luis R. Espinal. Love you always, amor, ama madre, viejita, mama, abuela, tita, lita, lili.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her adoring children, Nolvia Esperanza Lamote-Montoya (Alejandro Bravo), Rogelio Lamothe-Montoya (Yolanda Ortiz), Manuel Antonio Rivera-Montoya (Jean Crichton), Jose Adaly Rivera-Montoya (Claudia Grisales-Rivera), Lilian Anibeth Rivera-Montoya, and Jubal Selin Rivera-Montoya (Dazia Karina Rivera); her twenty-three grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Rodolfo Montoya, Rene Rafael Montoya, Roberto Montoya, Daniel Montoya, Agripina Montoya, and Ada Nimia Montoya
