Claudis Alfred Anderson

Claudis Alfred Anderson, 70, joined his honey, Delores, on Thursday, September 13, 2012.

Mr. Anderson was born on September 8, 1942 in Perry, Georgia. He was a devoted member of Southside Baptist Church. Alfred retired as a meat cutter from Winn-Dixie where he enjoyed many years of employment. Alfred enjoyed dancing, hunting, and cooking. His beloved wife, Delores Golden Anderson, and his parents, Claudis and Sara Yansom Anderson, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his step-children, Mike Bramblett (Carolyn), Cantonment, Florida, Teresa B. Hawk (Gary), Perry, Georgia, Tim Sapp (Jan), Warner Robins, Trey Swain (Stephen), Savannah; grandchildren, Alex Sapp, Sarah Stewart (Jeremy), Tim Sapp II, David Bramblett (Noelle), Jesse Gram (Laura), Joshua Gram (Amanda), Jennifer Sherbrook (Jeff), Dylan Bramblett and Aaron Bramblett; He also leaves behind his biological children, Michael (Lori), Kathleen; Robert and Bobbi, Perry; and Alfred, Cochran; several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; devoted neighbors, Juanita Hardy, Oswald Johnson and Mary Keen, and Helen Brown; brothers-in law, Byron Golden (Betty), Warner Robins, Derry Golden (Barbara), Mobile, Alabama; several nieces and nephews; and their beloved cat, Patches.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
