Cleave Eugene Ross

Cleave Eugene Ross, 85, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2004 at Houston Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, at the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at McCullough Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to American Heart Association, Houston County Division, 134 Cherren Dale Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088.

Born May 8, 1919 in Macon, Georgia, Mr. Ross was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He retired as a Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force where he proudly served in both WWII and the Korean War. Mr. Ross was also retired from Robins Air Force Base where he worked in Civil Service. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Warner Robins. Preceding him in death were parents, Cleave and Mary Inez Pelt Ross.

Survivors include, wife of 65 years Ruby Smarr Ross, Warner Robins; daughter, Judy Ross Darnell (Lowell), Bonaire; granddaughter, Bonnie Darnell Gleaton, Warner Robins; and great-granddaughters, Madison and Macy Gleaton.
