Clifford E. French

Clifford E. French, 69, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 12, 2011.

Mr. French was born on January 8, 1942 in Dry Fork, Virginia. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church where he was Minister of Senior Adults. Cliff was a Minister for fifty two years; he pastored Pride Baptist Church in Pride, Louisiana; Denham Road Baptist Church in Greenwell Springs, Louisiana; Third Street Baptist Church in Cordele; and Crossroads Baptist Church in Perry. A faithful servant of the Lord, he was also a Regional Vice President of Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Florida. His parents, Willie Boyd French and Edith Starling French, both preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of forty eight years, Elaine French, Perry; children, Dwayne Bryan French, Perry; David Brent French (Julie), Pensacola, Florida; Kimberly Michelle Jones (Darren), Knoxville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Lauren, Austin, Hannah, Cooper, Molly, Taylor, and Jonathan; brother and sister in law, Jerry and Patti French, Orlando, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday evening, July 15 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2011 in Southside Baptist Church interment following in Perry Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be given to Southside Baptist Church Missionary Fund, 1040 South Houston Lake Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
