Clyde S. Cowan

Clyde Cowan, 64, died Saturday, April 6, at his home. Services will be held at 2P.M. on Tuesday, April 9, at McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Houston County, 2066 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, Ga 31093.

Mr. Cowan was born in Grovania, GA. He was a retired Gunnery Sergeant from the United States Marines and a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam War. He was also a member of Unity Baptist Church and a past Commander of the DAV. His parents, Clyde Cowan and Myrtice Rogers, predeceased him.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Cowan, Warner Robins; daughters, Catherine C. Lane, Sherry C. Abney, Brandy N. Cowan, all of Warner Robins; brothers, Larry Cowan, Ocala, FL, Ray Cowan, Warner Robins, Anthony Rogers, Warner Robins; sister, Shirley Austin, Byron; grandsons, Jacob Lane and Randall Abney, Warner Robins; granddaughters, Alexis Lane, Warner Robins, Tanya Abney, Warner Robins, Christina Capaldi, Youngstown, OH.
