Col. Hillary Perdue, Usaf (Ret.)

Col. Hillary Perdue, USAF (Ret), 80, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2004 in his home. Services will be held at 11:00 on Thursday, October 14, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Andersonville National Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 13, from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society – Research , P.O. Box 1544, Warner Robins, GA 31099-1544, Hospice of Houston County, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088, or Georgia Baptist Developmental Disabilities Ministries, Inc., P.O. Box 2878, Deluth, GA 30096.

Mr. Perdue was born in Wrightsville, GA. He was a member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church, a retired colonel from the United States Air Force, where he served for 33 years, and was an avid golfer and Camellia grower. He was a resident of Warner Robins and a member at RAFB Golf Club since 1969. His parents, John M. and Carrie Mae Perdue, and first wife, Frances Haile Perdue, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret “Peggy” Perdue, Bonaire; daughters, Pamela J. Cox, Lewiston, ID, Laura Elizabeth Perdue Kelly, Laural, MD, Carol Strom, Warner Robins, Martin From, Muslua, MT; stepchildren, Douglas Fromm, Macon , Randal Fromm, Decula; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
