Col/Ret Richard H. Hoffman

September 24, 1932 — March 3, 2004

Col. Hoffman, age 71, died March 2nd at his residence following a prolonged illness. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 8, at the McCullough Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow at Andersonville National Cemetery.

During his 27-year Air Force career, Col. Hoffman was a Command Pilot and Missileer serving in the major air commands of MAC, TAC, and SAC. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Warner Robins Art Association.

He is survived by his wife, Edith M. Hoffman of Byron; sons, Michael E. Hoffman and his wife Ulrike of Bethesda, MD, and James T. Hoffman of Berkeley, CA; brother, Dr. J. R. Hoffman and his wife June of Sierra Vista, AZ; and sisters, Jean Hart of Brandon, FL, and Carol Ann Hardin of Jacksonville, FL.

Visitation will be from 6PM until 8PM on Sunday night. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Houston County.
