We are deeply sad to announce the passing of our father, grandfather, son and friend, Tim Bryant. He passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022 at the age of 76.
Tim was born in Tampa, FL on May 9, 1946 to Dorothy Banks and the late Colbert Wallace Bryant. For a total of 28 years, he served his country honorably in the United States Air Force and in Civil Service. With the military, he served during the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Shield/Storm having received a number of ribbons, medals and devices over the years.
Tim will be remembered as a special friend who was loved by many. He was always loving, caring, affectionate and giving to others. Tim loved meeting people and was a great mentor; he consistently gave the best advice to everyone he had the pleasure to sit down with. In his free time, he loved shopping at Goodwill and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria Menjes-Bryant.
Tim is survived by his loving son and best friend, Frederick Bryant of Warner Robins; his daughter, Christina Bryant of Kathleen; grandchildren, Brittany Michelle Bryant, Frederick Bryant, Jr. and Maxwell Todoroki Bryant; and mother, Dorothy Butler Banks of Barnesville.
Tim will be laid to rest with a private graveside memorial service for his family in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville.
