Courtney Nicole Benedict

On the evening of Friday, October 28, 2016, Courtney Benedict, passed away in Live Oak, Florida.

Courtney was born on August 18, 1989 in Ypsilanti, Michigan to David and Pamela Benedict. She moved to Warner Robins in 2006 where she attended and graduated from Houston County High School in 2007. Following high school, Courtney was accepted to Mercer University and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. She moved to Jacksonville, Florida several years ago and began a new career with the Maggiano's restaurant corporation. She progressed rapidly with them, and had been most recently promoted as a Regional Accounting Operations Manager. Courtney always had a zest and joy for life. She loved animals and had a passion for live music, and more than anything, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Courtney's memory will forever be treasured by her loving parents, David and Pamela Benedict of Bonaire; sister, Kelsey Benedict (Blake Patrick) of Jacksonville; grandmother, Bette Robison of Aston, Pennsylvania; uncles, Daniel Benedict (Elaine) of Geneva, New York; Richard Robison (Debbie) of Richboro, Pennsylvania; aunt, Cynthia Craig (Fred) of New Castle, Delaware; cousins, Erin, Richard, Dana and Brittany, as well as a host of extended family and so many friends.

Visitation with Courtney's family will be Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service to celebrate Courtney's life will immediately follow in the Chapel at McCullough Funeral Home with Dr. Craig McMahan officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Courtney Benedict to All About Animals Rescue, P.O. Box 4331, Macon, Ga 31208 or to the donor's favorite charity.
