On Tuesday, August 3, 2021, Dan Jaskula, 78, joined his Lord and Savior in Heaven.
Born on June 1, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois, Dan was the son of the late Anthony and Dorothy Jaskula. As a young man, Dan proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Germany for most of his military career. After his time in the service, Dan returned home to become a Banker at National Bank in Chicago for several years. He made Warner Robins his permanent home in 1972 and quickly became involved in the community. Dan was a longtime member of Green Acres Baptist Church where he served in various roles through the years. He was also part of the Milledgeville Prison Ministry, and taught Sunday school at a nursing home since 1977. An avid sports fan, Dan enjoyed announcing local high school football games on WRBN in Warner Robins and Macon radio stations and was a huge fan of the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, and the Atlanta Braves.
His memory will forever be treasured by his adoring wife of 45 years, Margaret Jaskula of Warner Robins; children, Bradley Sean Jaskula (Sharon) of Macon; Alicia Michelle Jaskula of Macon; and Erica Shannon Jaskula-Moore (Dave) of Musella; grandchildren, Sean Jaskula and Connor Moore; siblings, Kathy Fitzgerald (Mike) and Annette Galante, all of Chicago, Illinois; nieces and nephews, Ellen Quarrato (Joe), Katy Scott (Nicholas), Michael Fitzgerald, Jr. (Kate), Mattie and Emily, John Hemmer (Stacy), Luke and Morgan, Julie Ivanoff (Travis), Tanner and Melody; as well as many beloved extended family members, church family, and friends.
