David A. Hill

David A. “Bud” Hill, 82, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2006. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2006, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with entombment following on Saturday, February 4, 2006 in Dodge Grove Cemetery in Mattoon, Illinois. Visitation will be Thursday, February 2, 2006 from 1 until 2:30 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Hospice of Houston County, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.

Mr. Hill was born on March 9, 1923 in Chatsworth, Illinois. He was a member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church and the Joe Haselden Sunday School Class. He was an avid golfer and a fan of both the Atlanta Braves and the Chicago Cubs. His parents, Arnold and Elsie Hill, and brothers, Stanley Hill and Jack Miller, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Hill, Warner Robins; children, DiAnne Thomas (Jim), Mattoon, Illinois; Jane Young Hill, Rocky Mount, North Carolina; David Hill, Washington, D.C.; Janis Cohorst (Tom), Cary, North Carolina; Pam Fredlund (Rick), Kennesaw, Georgia; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and brother, Keith Miller (Sandy), Chatsworth, Illinois.
