David Alton Bowen

A native of Warner Robins, David Alton Bowen passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 12, 2022.

Born on March 19, 1987, David was the son of Kenneth Bowen and Leslye Croft McMillan. He enjoyed weight lifting, riding bikes, spending time at family events, and computer gaming. David earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from Middle Georgia State University.

David was preceded in death by his grandparents, L. Alton Bowen and Rubinell Bowen, and Max Croft.

His memory will forever be treasured by his parents, Kenneth Bowen (Robin Engle) of Centerville and Leslye Croft McMillian (Alec) of Kathleen; siblings, Emily Aloi (Joe) and Sarah Osborne (Griffin), all of Kathleen; nieces and nephew, Ava Jean, Gray, Abigail, and Olivia; and grandparents, Joan and Howard Bowen of Warner Robins.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of David to the Macon Rescue Mission, 6601 Zebulon Road, Macon, Georgia 31220, or to Daybreak, a project of Depaul USA, 174 Walnut St., Macon, Georgia 31201.
