David Arthur Ellis

David Arthur Ellis, 64, entered into rest on Sunday, March 6, 2011.

Mr. Ellis was born on July 28, 1946 in Mitchell, Georgia, and was of the Baptist Faith. He retired from Defore Acoustics & Drywall, where he worked as a laborer in construction. His parents, Hoyt Wayne Kitchens and Pauline Walden Kitchens, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Sheila Ellis; children, Patricia "Trish" Ellis, Butler, Anna Marie Martin, Macon, Libby Ellis, Butler, Joseph W. Ellis, Hartwell, and David S. Ellis, Butler; nine grandchildren; sister, Patricia Daniels (Langston); brother, Thomas Beals (Linda); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Ken Mauldin officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to David Ellis Memorial Fund.
