David Crumley, 71, entered into rest on Thursday, August 1, 2013.
Mr. Crumley was born on January 19, 1942 in Jefferson, Georgia to the late Richard Curtis Crumley and Elizabeth Hansen Crumley. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and the Believers Sunday School Class. After many years of dedicated service, David retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base. He loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of fifty two years, Rachel Reed Crumley; sons, D. Reed Crumley and his wife, Shari and Brett W. Crumley and his girlfriend, Autumn Ethridge, all of Bonaire; sisters and brothers in law, Marion Roberta Carruth (Fred) and Annette Shields (Harold), all of Warner Robins; brother, Dickie Crumley, Kathleen; grandchildren, Courtney, Katelyn, Kasey, Lindsey, and Jon.
Visitation will be Saturday evening, August 3 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 4, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Reverend Dennis Clark and Pastor Kenny Rodgers officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests donations be made to Southside Baptist Church Building Fund, 1040 South Houston Lake Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088 or to The Alzheimer's Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, Georgia 31201.
