David "Dave" West

David "Dave" West, 72, entered into rest on Thursday, April 10, 2014.

Dave was born on March 29, 1942 in Kewanee, Illinois to the late Paul and Esther Anderson West. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era and retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. Dave was a man of many hats. He was a music lover, a stain glass artist, a world traveler, an avid fan of Little League Baseball and volunteered at the Food Bank for Trinity United Methodist Church. His parents and two sisters preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving children, Andrea West Brown (Troy) of Kathleen and Adam West (Jessica Buchan) of Fort Valley; grandchildren, Griffin West, Madeline Brown, Kennedy West, Abigail and Garrett Brown, Selena Mazo and Olivia Smith; one stepsister; and loyal companion, Carolyn West.

A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel the funeral home. Burial will be private.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be given to the Trinity United Methodist Food Bank, 129 S. Houston Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
