David E Register

David E. Register, 71, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2008.

Mr. Register was born on June 29, 1936 in Hazlehurst, Georgia. He is a retired civil servant from Robins Air Force Base, and after his retirement, he worked for Sear's Automotive in the Galleria Mall. He is a member of Central Baptist Church where he is a member of the Joyner-A Bible Class His parents, Authur H. and Kennie S. Register and brother, Hobson Register, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife of fifty-one years, Marilyn Register, Centerville; daughters, Sharon Pirkle (Johnny), Lizella, Denise Glore (Andy), Byron, and Donna Register, Warner Robins; sisters, Allene Yawn, Hazlehurst, Joan Capes, Tampa, Florida, Karen Upshaw and Betty Nelson, both of Warner Robins; brothers, William Register, Hazlehurst and J. C. Register, Huntsville, Alabama; grandchildren, Bethany, Greg, and Reed Pirkle, Lizella; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 27, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be given to Central Baptist Church, Joy in the Journey, 1120 Lake Joy Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
