David H. Coody

David H. Coody, 74, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2015.

David was born on October 11, 1940 in Cochran, Georgia to the late Henry and Sallie Pittman Coody. He proudly served in the United States Navy, and then continued his career as an aircraft sheet metal mechanic at Robins Air Force Base until his retirement from civil service. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, touring America, and he loved spending time with his family.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 47 years, Betty Doxey Coody; son, Robert G. Coody (Terry) of Irwinton; daughter, Rebecca Ann Coody of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Adicia Coody of Jacksonville, Florida, Torey Coody of Smyrna, and Mallory Coody of Atlanta, siblings, John Mark Coody (Linda) of Fayetteville, Jimmy Coody (Debra) of Warner Robins, Mary Molton (Melvin) of Lizella, Janice Darsey (Louie) of Byron, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 19, 2015, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
