David Lee Niehaus

January 14, 1951 — March 31, 2017

David Niehaus, 66, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 31, 2017.

David was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio where he graduated from Western Hills High School and attended the University of Cincinnati for two years. Following his college career, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served in Balboa Park, California. David subsequently moved back to Cincinnati and was a welding inspector for the American Welding Society for General Tools.

In 1994, he moved to Warner Robins while continuing his welding career with the same society and also taught blue print reading for Middle Georgia Technical College. David was very politically active and had a deep love for his country. He was a bright light that went out way too soon.

David's parents, Leo L. and Margaret Ruth Niehaus, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his devoted wife of 24 years, Ruth A. Niehaus of Centerville; children, Adam Lee Niehaus of Byron, Julie Ann Niehaus Brumback (Michael) of Hamilton, Ohio, and Devin Lee Niehaus of Centerville; grandchildren, Scarlett Isadora Niehaus, Adam Lee Niehaus, Jr., Dylan Anthony Brumback, John Michael Thomas Brumback, and Kayla Marie Brumback; and sisters, Janet Weise of Cincinnati, Ohio and Joyce Broadus of Daytona Beach, Florida.

A graveside memorial service will be held in Andersonville National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of David to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
