David Ollie Dear

David Dear, 74, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Houston Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

David was born on October 13, 1941 in Littlefield, Texas. Following high school he continued his education at Texas Tech University and worked in the PVC Pipe industry for 37 years before retiring with Diamond Plastic in 2006. After his retirement, David and his wife Randy began Classic Illusions traveling and selling fashion jewelry. They lived in the Middle Georgia Area for the last 21 years and are members of Faith Lutheran Church. David was the church treasurer and counsel member. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his beloved family and friends.

His son, Michael Ollie Dear, father, Wilburn Olney "Buddy" Dear, Jr., mother, Eunice E. Wright Patterson, and stepfather, Pat Patterson, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 51 years, Randy Dear of Byron; daughters, Tina Woods (Cavan) of Warner Robins; Cheri Dear of Centerville; grandchildren, Morgan, Laura Kathryn, and Joseph Woods; and aunt, JoAnne Reed of Garland, Texas.

Visitation with David's family will be Friday, June 10, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Faith Lutheran Church, 301 N. Pleasant Hill Rd, Warner Robins, Ga 31093. David
