David Scott Lankford

July 28, 1969 — March 10, 2020

Scott Lankford, 50, passed away after a brief illness at his residence on Tuesday afternoon, March 10, 2020. The son of the late "Ricky" Lankford and the late Gail Adcock, Scott was born in Athens, Georgia, but spent the majority of his life in the Warner Robins area. A skilled service technician for Hobbs Home Medical for over 10 years, he touched the hearts of many, including his work family and also his patients, for whom he truly felt deep personal responsibility. He was a man of Christian faith and a member of Abundant Grace Church. A loving father and friend, Scott touched many lives and his memory will be treasured forever.

He is survived by his sons, Joshua Blake Lankford of Savannah, Georgia, and Davious Weston Lankford of Warner Robins; two children he was blessed with later in life, Eduardo and La'shadia Jimenez of Warner Robins; brother, Kenneth Lankford of Indian Trail, NC; and the two loving mothers of his children, Sandy Strozier Smith of Pendleton, SC, and Iesha Starling of Warner Robins.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 15th, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Abundant Grace Church with a visitation immediately following.

Mr. Lankford's celebration of life will be streamed on the Abundant Grace Church's Facebook page for anyone who is unable to attend.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Scott to Abundant Grace Church, a place that does great work for our community and that touched his life personally. Donations can be mailed to the church at 1861 Watson Blvd, Warner Robins, Georgia, 31093.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with these arrangements.
