David Wright

December 24, 1953 — July 28, 2017

David Wright, dedicated father and brother, went to be with his Lord and Savior in heaven on Friday, July 28, 2017. He was 63 years old.

David was born in Perry, Georgia on December 24, 1953 to the late Russell and Isabel Kropp Wright. He graduated from Warner Robins High School and retired after 30 years of Civil Service as an NDI Technician at Robins Air Force Base. A very naturally gifted musician, David played the Hammond B-3 in several local bands, including the Henry Herschel Project. He was also an amazingly talented woodworker and devout Christian.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Brandon Wright.

David’s memory will forever be treasured by his loving son, Matthew Wright (Sarah) of Athens; sisters, Patricia Schmidt (Craig) of Warner Robins and Jeanne Bauer (Doug) of Orlando Florida; and his beloved nieces and nephew.

He will be laid to rest with a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 1st in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of David Wright to the Happy Hour Workshop, 716 Young Ave., Warner Robins, GA 31093.
